She is one aspect of the beast Possibility. The other two aspects are Hypothesis and Law. Unlike Hypothesis, Theory has a more tangible form. However, she is not to be entirely trusted as solid. If you depend on her too much she has been known to vanish into thin air, evidenced only by the rustling sound of her wings.

1. A proposed explanation whose status is still conjectural and subject to experimentation, in contrast to well-established propositions that are regarded as reporting matters of actual fact.
